Hei! (that is how we greet each other in Norway) 🙂

I am Karin Brown and I got to grow up in the country of Norway. I trusted Christ and was baptized as a young girl. In 1982, I married my best friend, David.

For the past 27 years, David and I have been involved in church planting projects with Biblical Ministries Worldwide, primarily in Johannesburg, South Africa. We have also had the privilege of serving BMW’s missionary teams on the European and African continents.  I have walked alongside pastors’ wives, missionary wives, and young women.  As of June, 2017, we headed back to South Africa for a third missionary journey. This time we are focusing on the Zulu people in southern Natal.

Through God’s help I was able to get an undergrad degree in Secondary Education and a Master of Arts in Counseling.  In July, 2019, I passed ACBC certification as a biblical counselor.  David and I have four amazing, married children and twelve incredible grandchildren.

My passion in writing this blog is to inspire you to cultivate thinking thanks in every situation.
